Wet Mix Plants

At Jitin Engineering we manufacture wet mix plants of  Several  capacities starting from 60 TPH to 250 TPH. We have drum type wet mix plant and pug mill type,both plants comply with the MORTH standards. We also provide attachable arrangements for your normal wet mix plant for soil stabilization.

1. Four Bin Feeder

  • Four bin feeder is an essential part of wet mix plant as name states it feeds cold aggregates to the mixing unit constantly. The control of discharge is automatic as well as manual. Each bin contains independent gate for the controlled discharge with gear and motor system to regulate discharge as per mixture requirement.
  • A vibrating motor is present on dust bin to make easy flow of dust material and to prevent clogging due to moisture.
  • Ac motor and roller system drive gathering conveyor system,which collects all the aggregate from four bin feeder. 
  • Vibrating screen  is use to filter out the over sized aggregates which is not essential in our system and transfer remaining aggregates to the charging conveyor.

2. Slinger conveyor

Slinger conveyor transfer the discharge from gathering belt to the mixing unit. A load cell is provided under a slinger conveyor which is used to measure the weight of aggregates. It gives us the weight ton per hour.

3. Pug mill

This is the mixing unit of plant where all the aggregates from the feeder is accumulated. A gear, motor and reducer gear box gives drive to twin shaft arms and tips arrangement for mixing wet mix material. Rigid chassis provide provide better stability to plant. There are number of tips and arms mounted on the twin shaft for the homogeneous mixture. Tips are adjustable to compensate the wear and tear after prolonged operation.

4.Drum type mixing Unit

Drum type wet mix plant has separate ports for cement, water, emulsion. It is desirable by MORTH to use these essential things which provide strong bond to roads which creates strong base to lay Asphalt hot mix road. It is suitable to provide longer life to roads.

5. Computerized Control panel

We use control panel of “Fortune panel systems” which is a leading brand in industry.

MICRO PROCESSOR AND PLC BASED CONTROL PANEL

The control panel is latest technology Microprocessor and PLC base controlled operation. Panel suitable for any size of wet mix plants (60 tons to 300 tons/hour). The control of filler material discharge is manage by rotary valve/screw conveyor and digital flow meter measures water and cement volume. Load cell system weighs dry material.Variable ac drives of bins ensure gradation. Synchronization cut maintains exact ratio.

CONTROL FEATURE:

Wet Mix Plant has features like; Aggregate Control, Fully Auto Gradation For All 4 Bins and water & cement controls with Auto Calibration.

6. Water tank

Water storage tank is provided as per the capacity requirement of plant. water pump, flow meter with pipe transfer metered amount of water.

7.Load out conveyor

Load out conveyor transfers the finished mixture to the gob hopper. Placement of gob hopper is at a appropriate height where tipper can be easily parked for filling. Gob hopper has separate power pack for its operation.Hydraulic cylinder performs opening and closing. Wet mix silo is optional.

8.Cement filler (optional)

Cement filler has capacity of approximately  15-20 bag storage and it transfer cement to mixing unit with the help of screw conveyor.

9. Emulsion tank (optional)

It is present to store emulsion which is sprayed during mixing of cold aggregates. Seamless pipes provide life to tanks and helps in efficiently heating of emulsion. It has separate burner to heat the emulsion just like bitumen tanks.
